Post Mint Update
We'd like to share some updates about our Adanita Wonderland project. While we didn't reach our targeted funds during the mint phase, this has allowed us to set the mint price free, broadening our reach and accessibility.
This does mean we've paused the insurance aspect of the project for now, but it's not the end of our journey. In fact, we're focusing our energies on producing more captivating illustrations and compelling stories.
Additionally, we are considering a second phase, which could attract the necessary funding to keep Adanita Wonderland moving forward. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we navigate these changes. Here's to the future of Adanita Wonderland!
Meet the Adanitas
Everywhere but nowhere, omnipresent yet intangible, the enchanting realm of the Adanita Wonderland is home to the magical Adanitas.
These adorable creatures may look harmless, but they possess powerful magic beyond all human comprehension.
Adanitas have a special gift for coordinating with othercreatures and plants, working together to bring balance and harmony to theirsecret surroundings.
In tandem with nature, these wonderful beings harness protective barriers to shield their community from danger.
The Forest Floor
Hidden deep within the Adanita Wonderland is the Forest Floor, the most sacred of places in their spellbinding territory.
This lush and vibrant environment serves as the meeting spot for Adanita collaboration and knowledge sharing. The Forest Floor itself is at constant risk of being destroyed.
Yet through community efforts, thoughtful strategy and a sprinkling of magic, the Adanitas continue to rise above their challenges, overcoming their fears, uncertainties and doubts.
But the threats to the Forest Floorcontinue to persist and despite their powers, the little critters are in need of help. This is why they’re reaching out and extending their arms to welcome new members from the Cardano community into their magical kingdom.
Adanita Wonderland: A 2 Phase Project
Adanita Wonderland is an innovative NFT project that pushes the boundaries of innovation to new limits on the Cardano blockchain. On top of the stunning art, captivating lore and vibrant community, a collection of novel initiatives are laid out for the project within Phase 2 of the Adanita roadmap.
The project itself is clearly defined by its 2 distinct phases:
•Phase 1 focuses on the establishment of the artwork and lore, fostering an engaged community and preparing for the main collection PFP mint.
•Phase 2 focuses on the establishment of the Adanita treasury and introduction of an innovative floor protection insurance mechanism to safeguard the value of holder’s assets (Phase 2 mint).
Considering the budget required to develop these features, Phase 2 will only be executed if the main collection sale reaches a predefined threshold of 180,000 ADA. Purchasing an Adanita NFT during the main collection sale is in itself not a guarantee that the project will advance to Phase 2.
To avoid any misconceptions regarding their intentions and to instill trust and assurance with their community, the Adanita team has applied for the Doxxed Project certificate at Bearmarket.io.
Main Collection Design and Traits
The Adanitas have long searched for a way to capture and immortalize their distinctive characteristics. After careful planning, and plenty of wizardry, the Adanitas have produced a series of impressive profile pictures, 3,333 to be precise.
The likeness of each and every Adanita has been meticulously captured in these hand-drawn digital collectibles, showcasing their wonderful shapes and colors. The combination of traits such as their physical characteristics and facial expressions are so distinct that no two Adanitas are said to be alike.
Adanitas are an elusive bunch and are sparing with the knowledge they have. A source close to the Wonderland says that the collection will consist of multiple body types and over 180 unique traits. All possible body types will be housed under one CNFT policy ID.
They also hinted that the Adanitas keep special rewards for those that hold on to them dearly. One can only imagine that such benefits would include perks such as access to the Forest Floor Holder’s Club, Passholder giveaways, lifetime access to all Adanita whitelists, and benefiting from future mints once the smart contract for floor protection launches (in Phase 2).
Minting Adanitas
A whisper in the air let us know that the 3,333 profile pictures (PFP) will soon become available to mint on the Cardano blockchain for 54 ADA per CNFT.
The tentative mint date is set for December 22nd, 2023 through JPG.Store and will last for 7 days. After the 7 day sale period, no further main collection PFPs will be available for purchase.During the mint, the Adanitas will limit their availability to 10 CNFTs per transaction.
The magical whisper also mentioned that the Adanitas have been keeping close tabs on engaged community members and have established a whitelist with their names. Cardano holders who have not been whitelisted are invited to participate in the regular contests and giveaways on Adanita Wonderland’s X (Twitter) profile and Discord server.
Alongside their magical capabilities, Adanitas are technically savvy. Of all blockchains to choose from, the Adanitas selected Cardano in the best interest of the holders. All payments will be made in ADA and any excess funds will be returned to the original wallets after minting is complete.
Once minted, the Adanitas will be ready to convert into their digital forms within a few seconds or minutes, depending on server load. Should any delays longer than 24 hours occur, it would be best to flag the attention of an Adanita team member.
Finally, using your own self-hosted wallet, and not a CEX address (Binance, Coinbase, etc.), is best practice to avoid losing your little companion on the Cardano blockchain.
OG Pass Sale (withdrawn)
The OG Pass Sale (separate from the main collection) was an initiative to provide Adanita community members with several exciting benefits. These included perks such as:
• Unlock 50% discount on one item from the main collection mint and 50 % discount on one item from the following mint (pass validity: 2 mints or 1 year)
• Enjoy 2 years of free Floor Protection Insurance (normally 10% of the floor protection value per year (subject to change); see “Floor Protection Insurance” section for more details.
• Access to the Forest Floor Holder’s Club (regardless of owning a main collection token or not)•Passholder giveaways
• Lifetime access to all Adanita whitelists
Due to challenging market conditions, the sale did not meet expectations and after thoughtful consideration, the team has decided to discontinue the OG Pass sale. All buyers who purchased an OG Pass have been fully reimbursed. The decision to close this side project aligns with the Adanita vision of a community-centered project. While the sale itself did not meet expectations, the feedback received has been helpful in refining our approach and better understanding the wants and needs of our community.
Trust and transparency are key cornerstones of the Adanita philosophy.
Phase 2 Initiatives
DISCLAIMER: The Adanita team want to clarify that the purchase of the main collection PFPs are not a guarantee of the expansion into Phase 2 of the project roadmap. While the team have several exciting and innovative concepts ready to execute, the realization of these features requires a set budget which will be sourced from the initial main collection sale.
Floor Protection Insurance
Despite being new to the Cardano blockchain, the Adanitas are incredibly smart creatures and know a thing or two about NFT prices. They know for example that projects are subject to price drops after mint, especially during bear market seasons.
So they’ve come up with an interesting solution to this problem.
A floor threshold for the PFP collection will be set according to the success of the main collection mint in Phase 1. Should the market price drop below the threshold, the project will buy back the underpriced CNFTs, thus resetting the floor price. The funds required to execute this insurance protection will be deployed from the treasury. CNFTs purchased from the treasury will be placed on sale at a higher price or will be taken off the market.
The buyback mechanism will be automated by a smart contract. The funding for developing this smart contract is covered within the 180,000 ADA that will be taken from the treasury from the Phase 1 main collection sale (see “Adanita Treasury and Development Funding” sections).
Holders who are willing to make use of this mechanism will need to pay a monthly fee for the insurance protection. However, there will not be a fee for the future mints of Adanita Wonderland in the first year (details TBC).
Adanita Treasury
The total amount of ADA that will be raised during the second collection sale will constitute the Adanita Treasury.
Following a successful poll on X (Twitter), the mint price per NFT has been set at 125 ADA(TBC). Choosing from 4 available options (1-50 ADA, 51-100 ADA, 101-200 ADA, 201-300 ADA), the community voted with a clear majority (54.8%) for the 101-200 ADA range. The results of the poll can be found here.
This price adjustment demonstrates a good balance between current market sentiment and the unique potential of Adanita’s Floor Protection Insurance mechanism.
Hypothetically, a full sale from the 8,000 Second collection CNFT's could return a maximum amount of 1,000,000 ADA.
The following explains how the price for floor protection is calculated during a full sale.
Treasury = 1,000,000 ₳ from Second Collection Mint - %3 mint fee (we aim to reduce this cost by developing our own minting) or 30,000 ₳ - 160,000 Future Development fee - Processing and Network fee ≈1 ₳ * 8000 = 802,000 ₳
Floor protection price: 802,000 ₳/8000 CNFTs = 100.25 ₳ Or ≈80.20% of the mint price floor protection.
The treasury will be held onchain and used to create a Stake Pool Operation (SPO), enabling the project to contribute to the security and decentralization of the Cardano mainnet. By using the funds to operate a Stake Pool, additional staking rewards can also be earned and shared between further project development and community rewards (more details to come in Phase 2)
In addition to this, the treasury will also receive additional funds from secondary market royalty fees (10%). The fees will be split 50/50 between the creator and the treasury.
